This project is an observational figure drawing created from a live model, focusing on proportion, anatomical accuracy, and tonal rendering. The study explores the structure of the human form through careful attention to gesture, balance, and spatial relationships.
The primary objective was to capture:
Accurate body proportions and skeletal alignment
Weight distribution and posture
Light and shadow to define volume
Subtle contour variation and musculature
Through this drawing, I strengthened my ability to observe complex organic forms and translate three-dimensional space onto a two-dimensional surface. The process required sustained focus, iterative refinement, and sensitivity to proportion; skills that directly inform spatial awareness and architectural representation.
This work reflects my foundational training in observational drawing and my understanding of form, structure, and composition.
